After-school Program in Dartmouth
Children's Corner Day Care Centre Limited has very flexible and fun after-school program in Dartmouth for the children. These activities are aimed at developing the child’s cognitive and social skills through play. We provide before school care and after school care throughout the school year. We offer full day care for Inservices, storm days, Christmas break,March break and summer.We offer transportation for after school programs.

At the school unit, our aim is to keep things flexible and fun! We allow the children to make their own choices regarding their play/ interests as much as possible. We know the children are coming from a full day of structure. We provide a balance of indoor and outdoor activities daily.
Features of The Program:
The school unit is open from 7:00 AM until 5:45 PM during summers, in-service days, storm days, and school holidays. We provide before and after school care throughout the school year.
Children bring their own lunches... we provide the snacks!
In this program, children have a lot to choose from free play, creative activities, sports, dancing, challenges, games, park days, clubs, Lego mania. Children are encouraged to do things according to their own interest.
We offer interesting and fun weeklong concepts with daily activities, visitors, and outings. These plans are posted in advance on our plan board. Some of them are as follows:

We have many themes for the weeks such as baseball week, artist week, Goofy Olympics, and a lot more.
We also conduct the leadership program, which helps the children to take ownership in what they do. We encourage children in grades 4 to 6 to participate in the program. In this activity, they are invited to the day care in Colby community to act as role model and helpers. These children then read stories to younger kids, help in making snacks, and provide general assistance.
