Childcare Subsidy in Dartmouth

The Department of Education and Early Years Development provides subsidies to licensed childcare facilities on your behalf. The subsidy is attached to your child. Even if you move to another childcare facility, the subsidy goes with you. Subsidies are available if your child is 12 years or under, and the childcare you are applying for is a licensed childcare facility that offers full day care. Eligibility is also based on a family’s income, finances, and social need.
